Wow, life has been so crazy busy (as I'm sure you can relate)! My husband and I have relocated to Orange County, New York, bought a new home, and have a baby on the way (due any time now!). We are looking forward to kickstarting our brand up here in NY and are now accepting bookings beginning October 2018! We miss shooting and can't wait to get back into the swing of things following maternity leave.

It's that time of year...the kiddos are headed back to school, and we all start dreaming of all of the delicious, fun, and fabulous fall activities that are just around the corner. Before things get too hectic, don't forget to schedule your family's mini photo session! They were all dressed adorably and were an absolute joy to work with! Having three young kiddos in tow always makes for an interesting and energetic session and this one was no different. The results are so pure and the candids are always my favorites. My wonderful husband nabbed a few shots of me last night at sunset - I needed them for a local photographer organization that I joined, but also realized I needed some photos of myself for my website. I think he did a pretty good job! Love my assistant :)

Molly & Karriem's Engagement Session

Wow, it was a quick winter this year, and it is clear spring is coming soon! To celebrate the arrival of this wonderful season, we are offering Spring Mini Sessions with limited dates in April.

Each mini session will last for 20 minutes and include 5 digital images, print release, facebook timeline cover, and the option to purchase additional prints or other products. Now is the time to get the family together for a fresh new portrait, or maybe you would love to get some Easter snapshots of the kids for grandma. Mother's Day is coming soon, a portrait package would make a great surprise gift! It was a breezy morning on the Bay but we had so much fun working with the family who won our Facebook Family Photo Session giveaway! We had our first fall family mini photo session as a preview session this past weekend. This lovely family was so flexible and go-with-the-flow, despite the massive bike race happening around us at the park! They were wonderful to work with and their beautiful dog joined us on the cool autumn morning. I couldn't have asked for a better family to do my preview session with!

Fall Wedding Joy

I had the honor and pleasure of spending some time with Alex, his family, groomsmen, and friends before his wedding this past Saturday morning. It was an absolute blast! Mini Session Season is Here!

I had the pleasure of spending some time with this little guy and his loving mama this morning for a mini session. Little buddy had a fun time running around and exploring the sites in downtown Sykesville, MD while I snapped away on the camera. He especially enjoyed the train! Two year olds certainly have a lot of energy and are interested in everything. Thanks for letting me spend a beautiful, sunny summer morning with you!

Three Beautiful Daughters and their proud Mom!

I was able to spend a hot July morning with these three beautiful daughters and their beautiful and proud momma! The lighting for portraits was just PERFECT and I couldn't wait to grab some shots of the littlest one in the flower crown. I've known these girls for many years and it is amazing how much they have grown and are becoming confident young ladies. Their mom has lots to be proud of!

Family Session at McDaniel College, Westminster, MD

We had a delightful family session at McDaniel College in Westminster last week. Despite temperatures in the nineties and the mosquitoes out to get us, this family had a great time and looked amazing in all of their photos. I had a hard time choosing which photos to edit because so many were pretty and had priceless facial expressions! The littlest one is almost 5 and full of spunk and life, and the other children are in their teens. Mom and Dad have their hands full but it is obvious that they love every minute of it! We walked around the campus and found some great photo locations at dusk. There were definitely some blooper shots that made me laugh while editing - but the littlest one did run up and grab my hand toward later in the session, so I know she WAS really having a blast. Thanks for making the session so much fun, you were a great family to spend time with!

Summer Family Session Fun

I had so much fun with these two sweet parents and their little doll, and her baby doll too! The doll's name is aptly named "Baby," and she was in nearly every photo by popular demand (or by 2-year-old demand, which is the same thing!). Certainly "Baby" was not the star of the show though, by far!

It was a hot and sticky evening in Virginia and I so appreciate this family for being troopers and walking around the park with me! I'm glad that I was able to spend some time with you and grab some cute shots along the way. You are a beautiful family!

I had the pleasure of having this little guy do our Lemonade Mini Session Preview and he did a FABULOUS job! He even said the lemonade was tasty. He had a lot of fun playing with all of the props, serving himself some delicious lemonade, and counting the lemons. Thanks so much for being such a great little model for our preview session!

The Lemonade Mini Sessions are a great opportunity to have some playful and fun photos taken of your little one this summer. The setup has been designed with ages 6 months to 10 years in mind. Up to three children can be included in one mini session. The sessions will last 25 minutes.

A Pretty-Sweet Sweet Sixteen Party!

This past weekend I photographed a beyond-sweet Sweet Sixteen birthday party for a very lucky lady! With the help of her mom, this dynamic duo had over 60 high schoolers in attendance for this pool-meets-dance floor bash! The party was complete with a DJ and dance floor, huge pool with diving board, a dunk tank, and of course a huge CAKE. All guests in attendance were jovial, fun, and lively, making it an awesome event to capture memories of. Best wishes to the lovely birthday girl. May sixteen be a year of happiness, love, and success for you!

Session in the Park!

I had such a fun time getting to know this family this past Saturday morning. We ventured out to Centennial Park, where so many runners and workout fanatics were already in full swing for the day! This family was so sweet and kind, and the little one could just light up a room! His bright personality really shines through in these photos. He even picked many of his own poses! I hope I get to see him again so that he can tell me all about how the movie he was going to see that day was!
